damn you spam [karma]

I’ve been told that this plugin, SpamKarma for wordpress is wonderful, and in a way it is. It has stoped spam comments from being posted, but my problem lies with good comments. You know, the comments I want to show up. They arent posting. And its weird, they go into the ‘approved comments’ section within spamkarma, yet they don’t actually post. It seems that the only way to make them post to the blog is to go into ‘comments’ (outside spamkarma), edit the comment which isnt showing, but not even edit it, rather simply go to ‘edit comment’ then hit the ‘edit/submit’ button. After that it shows on the site, or at least the number of comments to the entry updates.
If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.
