20/20

May 27th, 2008

What Belfast lacks, the Oh Yeah Music Centre hopes to inject with full force.

After various drunken discussions, big ideas were turned into reality in the form of the Oh Yeah Project, which seeks to address the imbalance of talent versus facilities that had previously existed in Belfast.

The vast talent to come from Northern Ireland throughout the years and currently shows that there is much need for a dedicated centre for the growth of musicians and those involved in all aspects of the industry on a local basis. The centre will house rehearsal space, a recording studio, a performance space as well as a café, all in an environment where local musicians can learn through the company of others

This Thursday 29th May from 6pm-9pm the building will host a group exhibition of photographs by local photographs, including myself, entitled 20/20
