to the irish web awards 08

I’m on my way to Dublin until Sunday for the Irish Web Awards, hosted by Rick O’Shea and organised by Damien Mulley.

Celebrating the finest websites in the land, the IWA brings together the people behind the innovative, user-friendly, useful and beautiful parts of the web, and gives the best prizes, while the rest just enjoy the alcohol.

I will (hopefully) be live blogging the winners as they are announced tomorrow evening for those unable to be there.

There are plans for a photomeet on Saturday afternoon before the awards, if anyone would like to join us drop me a line (phil@icedcoffee.ie) or on twitter @icedcoffee. Details will be posted here (and twitter) when finalised.

As for tonight, I believe some drinks are in order.
