favourite photographs – taking flight

Taken a long the Stranmillis towpath in Belfast in November 2005. Every so often I would take a walk along this path by the River Lagan, which goes for quite a few miles, and always has other walkers/runners/cyclists. Possibly one of the best places to go for a bit of nature within the city.
The photograph is of a swan taking flight after a little swim in the water.
