I recently came across Poladroid (currently in Beta for Mac and Alpha for Win), a pretty little app for creating polaroid-style photographs and I’ve only had a chance to play with it today. It’s a lot of fun, and takes about 3mins for the polaroid to be created, fading from nothing and turning into the resulting image – just like a real polaroid. It also only allows 10 to be converted at once – again, just like the real thing.

@Darren, @Lottie – I thought you two would like this. Though it’s an application and still in alpha stage of development for windows. But soon.
