In Belfast we had our own Scott Kelby World Wide Photo Walk, along with 899 other cities. Although a walk had been pre-arranged for the day as part of Trans, I did my bit to let everyone know about the Kelby side of things through the Belfast Flickr group where the walk was organised.

The walk was titled “Lesser-Spotted Victoria Square” with the purpose of trying to capture other areas of the shopping centre besides the over-photographed Dome. The folks at Trans managed to get us full access to Victoria Square, and thanks to our “tour guide” we got to many previously unseen areas, including the best spots for capturing the Dome, so it really couldn’t be helped.

So, thanks to Andy, those at Trans, and those who came along making it a great day. Now all you have to do is submit your images (max 2).

Deadlines are as follows:

• July 25, 11:59 pm EST: Deadline for photo walkers to upload their images for consideration. No photos received after this time will be considered in the contest.
• August 1, 11:59 EST: Deadline for walk leaders to upload the best photo from their walks. No photos received after this time will be considered in the contest.
• August 17: The grand prize winner and 10 honorable mentions will be announced on the Worldwide Photo Walk website.

Of the images uploaded I will be choosing one as the best of the day, the owner of this image will win Scott Kelby’s currently unreleased ‘Digital Photography Book Volume 3‘.
