Paris Part 2 – Metro

November 30th, 2009

I like trains.
I like underground trains.
I think I would be satisfied if I visited all underground metro systems. So far I can tick off London, New York, Boston and Paris.
Here are just a few of my shots from the Paris Metro.

Really really great pictures, I like underground trains as well as you :)

Probably your best pictures ever. Only my opinion and maybe it’s just cause the Paris metro is stupidly cool and retro looking but love these! The orange seats are class :)

@Niall Harbison – Thanks Niall, I’m putting it down to uni influencing a different way of looking at the way I take photographs (especially in terms of the last 9 shots above).

Great photos, like your work. Thanks for following me on Twitter; I’ll keep an eye on your updates.

Some great photos there Phil, I really like the different stairs/escalators. I spend a lot of time in Brussels and use the underground quite a lot – the idea of entering a dark cave/dungeon is strangely thrilling or maybe thats just me. I Love the Paris metro, many years ago I tried to sleep in one of the stations but got hosed out by the clean-up crew. Its not funny trying to dry out a sleeping bag…

@paysan – Hosed? Damn that really must have sucked.
