It’s really been a year for electronica for me, almost verging on dance at times, but not quite. All three Ratatat albums, along with rediscovering Royksöpp since their first album, as well as Calvin Harris’ superbly upbeat tracks. When Chillout moments are required only Ratatat can suffice.

Then I found Mumford and Sons, just an incredible piece of work. With lyrics like “In these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die, Where you invest your love, you invest your life”.

Antony & the Johnsons, my most recent discovery, has a very sombre tone, though Antony’s voice is incredible and really hits every emotion.

Each of these albums are essential listening!
