The final stop of the #IBA11Photowalk was the roof of the Europa hotel, the venue of the night’s event. I’d been to the top of the Europa hotel in the past, though not in daylight so it was great to see the whole of the city from such a perspective.

Following on from the brilliant tour of the Titanic Building we met with a self-proclaimed “Titanorak”, who showed us around the old Harland and Wolff offices which housed the original plans for the great ship that sank. The Drawing Rooms of the Titanic have been abandoned since the 1970′s other than the occasional private event.

It was Saturday 19th March and shortly after 1pm a bus came to collect the photo-blogging troupe from the City Hall, bringing us to the Titanic Signature building — currently very much under construction. A few of the Vespa riders from the Solid Bond Scooter Club seconds before they took off for a lap of the City Hall then off somewhere else. I read that £500 was raised for the Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary. Saturday 26th February, 2011.
