Irish Blog Awards 2011 Photo-walk Pt.1 — City Hall

Traditionally, we photo-bloggers would organise a photo-walk on the afternoon of the Irish Blog Awards, though this year, DavyMac did an amazing job of putting together a brilliant itinerary of a number of Belfast’s renowned sites. Many thanks go out to Caroline Dixon of the Belfast City Council, Fiona Ure of the Belfast Visitor & Convention Bureau and Siobhán McGuigan of Northern Ireland Tourist Board, who coordinated with Davy to make it all possible.
The day began at noon at the City Hall, on waiting in the foyer we were greeted by a bald and slightly dishevelled-looking man in “official” uniform, top button undone and ill-mannered at times: with a rough-and-ready style, and “C’mon, hurry up. You’re holding everyone up” attitude. Still; informative and educational.
