Hi Phil, glad you were able to take something positive out of what was a difficult time. I was bullied myself and although I didn't have the same 'F***k what people think' reaction that you have had, it did give me a greater understanding of the human defects and weaknesses common to all of us. I always try to maintain the struggle every day to treat people with the respect that their dignity as people demands, irrespective of how they treat me. A life lived out of a desire for human respect is a life half-lived. I refuse to let the fact that I was bullied be a reason for treating anyone in a way I wouldn't have them treat me and I'm glad you feel the same. Thanks for sharing Phil.

You took the words right out of my mouth...very well said.

Whether "here" or in UK or worldwide the middle(?) is getting more active, more vocal + more apparent. Religion is not going to disappear, divisions will pervade, and politics SHOULD be a discussion about disagreements...but if the drip-drip of careful arguments and reasoned thinking can keep showing another way then things will move forward.

It will be at a different pace in different countries, and it may take generations. But somewhere, sometime an agreeable unity will develop in this, now permanently connected, planet.

I'll shut up now.
