Today’s Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton, now Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, was watched by an estimated estimated 400 million people worldwide, and has become the biggest largest event in Internet history. Of course there were also many street parties. I caught up with one on Donegal Road in South Belfast:

The funeral of Constable Ronan Kerr will be held on Wednesday at 12. The ceremony will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, with burial in Drumduff cemetery. The final stop of the #IBA11Photowalk was the roof of the Europa hotel, the venue of the night’s event. I’d been to the top of the Europa hotel in the past, though not in daylight so it was great to see the whole of the city from such a perspective.

Following on from the brilliant tour of the Titanic Building we met with a self-proclaimed “Titanorak”, who showed us around the old Harland and Wolff offices which housed the original plans for the great ship that sank. The Drawing Rooms of the Titanic have been abandoned since the 1970′s other than the occasional private event.

It was Saturday 19th March and shortly after 1pm a bus came to collect the photo-blogging troupe from the City Hall, bringing us to the Titanic Signature building — currently very much under construction.
