Meeow – My New Housemates

September 3rd, 2009

My Granny loved cats and had one for as long as I remember. This was the first, and for a long time, the only feline I had contact with.
As much as I wanted one of my own – though moreso a puppy – the best I could hope for were hamsters and goldfish. However, [...]

Granny; Rest in Peace

August 20th, 2009

Early Tuesday morning my Granny passed away.
Always cheerful, always with a great sense of humour, and adored by many.
Today is her funeral.
She will be deeply missed.

Thank You!

July 16th, 2009

I hate to seem like I’m totally dragging this out, but I’m quite overwhelmed by all the birthday wishes I got yesterday. Who needs birthday cards!

The Beat Goes On, And Tastes Evolve Part 2

June 3rd, 2009

[continued from Part 1...]
All fairly standard stuff there really. Quite varied, but standard. I believe so anyway.
The biggest surprise, however, came when, on the greatest holiday ever in the North West American States I was fed country music. At first I was completely shocked and horrified by this sound, demanding that it be turned off [...]

2009 resolutions

January 1st, 2009

Another year, another set of goals, new memories and hopefully many good times.
As is the norm this time of year, I have created a short list of resolutions; some vaguely realistic goals and achievements for the year ahead. I’ve never really been one to take resolutions seriously, though this year I think I’ve made a [...]

2008 was a good year. thank you.

December 31st, 2008

I can’t quite believe it but this time last year I was frantically running around preparing for my first photo exhibition as part of a small Belfast festival. I am very grateful of those who gave me the opportunity and helped me pull it off and make it the success I feel it was. It [...]

be merry

December 25th, 2008

I’d just like to wish everyone who has visited my blog, commented, been in contact, encouraged me and those I’ve met as a result of the blog. It’s been a good year, but more on that later. Have a great Christmas!

midsummer’s gone

June 26th, 2008

Midsummers Day has come and gone (it was quite a long day at Barcamp) and so just another time of year to realise that time is moving far too quickly. I read recently that the reason time appears to move so fast – that life rushes by, leaving us saying all too often “where does [...]

i need some sleep

June 12th, 2008

I just can’t clear my mind. Lying there in the dark. I really really try.
Take last night for instance. I was in bed at 11:30pm – early for me. After tossing and turning for almost 2hrs; a constant stream of thoughts and ideas bouncing off each other, I eventually got up and had some Weetabix [...]

lets get drunk and dance

April 25th, 2008

It’s been a while since I went to a club and drank many alcoholic beverages into the early hours of the morning. Having had a taste of just that the other night, not so much in the alcohol consumption but in the atmosphere and drink consumed by the free spirits all around me – including [...]
